UP educatie is a Dutch firm with four years of experience in the broad field of vocational training and education. The company’s clientele is comprised of: companies wanting to raise their employees’ skills, reintegration agencies re-qualifying personnel, vocational schools, temporary employment agencies, as well as state-owned and private integration organizations.

Our project assumptions were to create an image linked with education, the exchange of thoughts, development, and discussion panels. The entire logo was to be contemporary, without the corporate and impersonal character of logos so typical for the industry, slightly light-hearted and with modern imagery.

When designing the logo we decided to focus on an emblem created from the first two letters of the company’s name (these are also the company founder’s initials). During our design process we managed to compose the "U" and "P" into a characteristic dialog balloon, as well as an image of a document, so characteristic for the education branch. The company’s name and the claim, located directly under the emblem, create a clean and characteristic form, resembling a square. We also designed a horizontal logo for use on websites.
