How much does a logo created by eos.studio cost?

Each logo is the unique result of our design process. Its style (whether it is to be a typographic logo featuring only a font, featuring a pictogram, or featuring a distinctive “coat-of-arms” or illustration) largely determines its price, as the amount of work required to complete each logo style differs. The number of variants required by the customer also influences the price (see question below). Please fill out our contact form, and we will be happy to give you an estimate.

How many logo variants will I receive from eos.studio?

Our basic offer includes the design of 3 logo variants – stemming from different concepts. Each main image is additionally executed in different color schemes and with varying typography. Our experience dictates that 3 various concepts is the best solution – for the customer this amount creates a wide choice range, and the 3 variants allow the designer to create images without fear that the end products will be boring or similar to each other. If the customer desires a wider choice range eos.studio will of course design as many logo variations as required. In this case the variants will be designed by at least two designers.

What does the logo order process look like and what if I don’t like the first variant?

Unfortunately, our projects may not suit the customer, despite our best efforts. To eliminate this situation we make telephone calls, arrange personal meetings (whenever possible), and ask the customer to complete a thorough brief. pertaining to the order. The first order phase is conducted as follows: once the logo’s complexity level is established and we have presented our price estimate, we sign an agreement with the ordering party, which becomes valid once we receive 25% of costs of the logo design, upon which we initiate a design session. In accordance with the agreement, we have 10 business days to prepare 3 main logo designs, each of which may (but does not have to) include color-scheme and typographic variations. If among our variants the customer chooses an image that suits his liking, or the desired effect could be obtained as a result of further work on the image, we continue work on the project until the final product is complete.
If none of our propositions meet the customer’s expectations, we offer two solutions:

  • The client may terminate the agreement at this point, yet the costs of the design session are nonrefundable,
  • eos.studio can initiate a second design session (for an additional cost), as a result of which the customer will receive additional logo variants..

When purchasing a logo do I also purchase copyrights to it?

Our projects are the results of the creative process. Upon purchasing an image the customer receives the copyrights to it, can use the image in any way he deems suitable, and may alter the image. Copyrights are transferred in a suitable agreement, which is also the first step of the order process.

I’m organizing a contest for my logo / visual identity system / website project. Will eos.studio be interested in taking part in the contest?

As a rule, we are not interested in taking part in contests that require completing an initial project. We believe that our design style, our possibilities and the effects of our work can be viewed on our website, in our portfolio. If you want a wider choice range and are looking for various styles, and simultaneously want the possibility to back out of the order if our projects do not meet your expectations, you have to be prepared to cover our preliminary project costs, the costs of the time we spent designing an image for you. Fill out the contact form, and tell us about your expectations, and we will give you a cost estimate.

Will I be able to use the logo I purchase from eos.studio on my website, in print, in presentations, on pens, etc.?

Each image authored by us is saved in several formats: as a vector – thanks to which it can be easily scaled and used in print (from pens to large-format posters) and in raster format – which can be utilized in multimedia presentations or on websites. It should be kept in mind that a file’s technical possibilities do not guarantee that the logo will look good in all types of formats or on all background colors, which is why a thoroughly completed logo project brief, will allow us to assess your requirements and create a logo that will optimally serve you

What is a corporate identity manual and will I ever need it?

A corporate identity manual is composed of a dozen or so pages containing a visual and textual elaboration of logo utilization in various situations, or, in other words, various exposition possibilities on multiple carriers. What carriers? First of all on business cards, company paper and envelopes – so-called business stationary. But that’s not all. The corporate identity manual contains information pertaining to the logo’s composition, area of isolation, standard color scheme and shades of grey, as well the logo’s alternative versions – horizontal and vertical. It should be emphasized that even a thoroughly thought-through and executed logo will not fulfill our expectations if used incorrectly.
